There are few things in the human body that can be as debilitating, painful and annoying as tight hamstrings. It is a condition that either keeps your from doing something well, or keeps you from doing anything at all. Whether you’re a beginning or experienced yoga student, chances are that you’ve faced off with your hamstrings in one way or another. Tight hamstrings are a common cause of injuries not just in yoga, but also for athletes. They are also a common source of many lower back pain issues as well. In this series we will dive deep into hamstring flexibility, and help to release chronic hamstring tension.
