The fluid movement and breath focus of the Sun Salutation practice offers us loads of benefits. However, sometimes small misalignment of the poses can add up to repetitive stress injuries. This 4 week series offers a wealth of effective techniques to refine and align your Downward Facing Dog, Plank, Chaturanga, Upward Facing Dog and Cobra. Taught at a moderate pace with breaks to “workshop” individual poses, this course is suitable for most levels. Experience the joy of uniting breath and movement!


After taking this course you will be able to:
  • Understand the difference between both A and B series of the Sun Salutation sequence
  • Experience the benefits of Forrest Yoga’s unique approach to the Sun Salutations Safely experience more challenging poses like inversions, backbends and deeper twists
  • Be able to feel in your own body what healthy, safe alignment is in each of the poses that make up the Sun Salutation sequence how to use your yoga to bring balance to your structure
